This work was performed so as to ensure ongoing Compliance, Safety and Reliability.

Complete disassembly and inspections of critical components are required to provide compliance with AS2550.1 (2011) and to ensure safe reliable ongoing operation.

Cranes and hoists are generally designed for a ten year mechanical life and a twenty-five year structural life.

Crane utilisation and loading can of course mean some cranes/hoists will reach their "End of Life" sooner or later
